Traveling event of singing, dancing, and theater designed to support the fight against violence against women and will be staged on Saturday, November 25th, at the Goldoni Theater.
Celebrate in Livorno its ninth year of existence Let’s Change Music!, the itinerant event of singing, dancing, and theater designed to support the fight against violence against women and which will take place on Saturday, November 25th, at the Teatro Goldoni.
The initiative, under the patronage of the Municipality of Livorno, was created in 2015 by Alice Graziadei and the University of Bologna, which assigned the artistic direction and creation of the show to Valeria Iaquinto. The show debuted at the Teatro Duse as the concluding act of a thematic journey. Now it arrives in Livorno on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Let’s Change Music! has the Teatro Goldoni as its organizer and host for the evening, which immediately embraced the project by including it in its program. Together with the Goldoni, the musical association Il Pentagramma from Pisa organized the event, and Danzaria from Collesalvetti and Forme Sonore from Bologna collaborated.
The event has two objectives: firstly, to raise awareness among a wide and diverse audience about the issue of violence against women, and secondly, to raise funds to be donated to anti-violence centers in the area where it is held. In the case of Livorno, these associations include Randi (Anti-violence Center, anti-trafficking organization, Shelter, Second Reception House) and Ippogrifo (Anti-violence Center and Refuge with secret address), which were identified in collaboration with the Municipality of Livorno.
