Introduction to fish watching and ethical spearfishing with Deep Instinct
Under the surface of the sea there is a world teeming with life.
As guests in this environment, in order for it to reveal itself to us we must learn how to observe and approach it in the right way.
Developing focus, patience, and sensitivity helps you notice what often escapes a hurried glance. Through a respectful, non-invasive approach, you will learn to identify the species that inhabit our coasts, read the signals of the marine environment, and understand fish behavior in its natural habitat.
This is not about “looking for” fish, but about becoming part of the setting—minimizing your presence to encourage authentic, close encounters.
An introductory fish watching day with Deep Instinct, combining both theory and practice: from the basics of marine biology and recognition of native species, to mindful approach techniques that allow you to observe without disturbing, in full respect of the ecosystem.
For those who already have basic freediving training, more time available, and the desire to go deeper in their relationship with the sea and its resources, the experience can be enhanced and structured as an ethical, eco-sustainable spearfishing pathway—focused on techniques, equipment, responsibility, and selectivity—as a natural extension of an approach rooted in awareness and respect.
Who: solo, as a couple, with friends, families.

Participants: 2–4. With sufficient notice we can also accommodate larger groups.
Prices: from €190/person (~4 hours of activity)
Notes: to extend the activity with a spearfishing course, a freediving certification and a medical certificate are required.
