Explore the Livorno coastlines and seabeds as you navigate through Cala del Leone, Chioma, and Castiglioncello

Get ready for a day of exploration along the enchanting Livorno coasts, a journey that will lead you to discover three wonderful marine locations and their hidden beauties. From the Medici Dock of the old Port of Livorno, near the Quattro Mori monuments, you will embark on the “Iceberg I”, a modern 12-meter fishing boat designed to ensure the maximum comfort and safety for up to 12 guests plus crew.

Under the guidance of the kind and friendly Agostino, a captain, fisherman, and skilled cook, you will skirt the Calafuria cliff, admiring the ancient watchtower, and reach the first leg of your journey will take you to discover the Cala del Leone, a wide bay nestled in the greenery surrounding the Livorno cliffs, right below the Castel Sonnino promontory, where you’ll have the chance for an initial swim in crystal-clear waters.

After cooling off, sail towards Chioma, a seaside resort south of Quercianella, where you’ll stay anchored for about 3 hours. During this time, between dives and swims in the open sea, you’ll delight in a scrumptious fish-based lunch, prepared according to the finest local culinary tradition. After a welcome prosecco, you’ll enjoy fabulous and fresh appetizers, followed by a first and a second course, all accompanied by selected wine (one bottle for every four people), other beverages, dessert, coffee, and digestif.

Around 2:00 PM, you’ll set sail again heading towards the beautiful coast of Castiglioncello, where your day’s final swim awaits, an opportunity to discover another enchanting hidden corner of our magnificent coastline before returning to the dock around 5:00 PM.
